Arden Cho, famed for her voice role as Rumi in Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” recently celebrated her marriage to orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee with a series of wedding events in Florence, Italy. The couple, who initially connected through a dating app, became engaged on a trip to Maui in March 2025. They selected Florence as their wedding locale because it held deep personal meaning, marking the place where they recognized each other as lifelong partners.
The wedding festivities gracefully merged elements from Korean traditions with modern touches. For the welcome celebrations, Arden and Christopher donned traditional Korean hanbok attire. The ceremony itself took place at Villa Cora, where Arden wore a bespoke wedding gown designed by Vera Wang. In a nod to their heritage, they also conducted a pyebaek ceremony, a traditional Korean wedding custom.
Despite several hurdles, including delayed luggage, travel issues for relatives, and a scorching heatwave in Florence, the couple’s wedding proceeded smoothly. They were surrounded by family and close friends who joined them in celebrating their union.
Arden has recently broadened her recognition, especially following her role in “KPop Demon Hunters.” She is also venturing into production, working on an upcoming psychological thriller titled “Perfect Girl,” which centers around a K-pop theme.
