The Thai team demonstrated formidable performance throughout the match, with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-23. Although South Korea initially took the lead in the opening set, Thailand responded with a series of effective attacks and strong serving to eventually win the set 25-20. This comeback set the tone for the rest of the match.
The second set began competitively with South Korea momentarily gaining the upper hand at 11-9. However, Thailand quickly regained control through a strengthened attack, closing the set at 25-19. The momentum continued into the third set, where both teams were evenly matched until Thailand managed to break through, concluding the set and match with a 25-23 victory after a South Korean error.
Thailand’s victory not only adds another bronze to their collection, following those won in 2014 and 2022 along with a silver in 2018, but it also extends their consistent medal-winning streak.
